Overall Family Relations Chairperson also reserves the right to hear both an
organization and a family’s side of the story when deciding on penalties.
4.2.7.3. A Point System is in place in order to better track violations and impose
penalties when necessary. A complete list of points and all associated
penalties is available in Appendices D and E.

4.2.7.4. 1-2 points=Meeting between assigned Family Relations AAF Liaison and
organization’s Family Relations Chair
4.2.7.5. 3 points=Meeting between assigned Family Relations AAF Liaison,
Overall Family Relations Chairperson, Overall Chairperson, and organization’s
Family Relations Chair, THON Chair(s), and president
4.2.7.6. 4 points*=Meeting between assigned Family Relations AAF Liaison
Captain, Overall Family Relations Chairperson, Overall Chairperson, and
organization’s Family Relations Chair and THON Chairs; mandatory
organization workshop and selection of a Family Relations Co-Chair or, if
necessary, new Chair selected by the organization
4.2.7.7. 7 points*=Organization is “red-flagged.” Meeting between assigned
Family Relations AAF Liaison, Overall Family Relations Chairperson, Overall
Chairperson, and organization’s Family Relations Chair, THON Chair(s), and
president; mandatory organization workshop; new Family Relations Chair
selected by the organization; discussion of removal of family-organization
partnership; organization will lose access to floor passes during THON
weekend by the decision of the Overall Family Relations Chairperson.
4.2.7.8. 8 or more points=Removal of AAF family; organization will not be able to
re-apply for the AAF program for 2 years; organization is considered
suspended from the AAF program.
4.2.7.9. *Please note that a mandatory organization workshop (4- and 5-point
penalty) means that in addition to the Family Relations presentation at the
