<strong>2013</strong> Penn State IFC/Panhellenic Dance Marathon<br />

2.2.7.10. The location of the fundraiser must be stated as specifically as possible.<br />

2.2.7.10.1. No alternative fundraiser may be held at the same dining<br />

establishment within two weeks of another alternative fundraiser. If the<br />

requested date is within two weeks, the request will be sent back to the<br />

organization’s THON Chair.<br />

2.2.7.10.2. No fundraising is allowed on or around BJC or Beaver Stadium<br />

property.<br />

2.2.7.11. The contact person MUST be the organization’s THON Chair and they<br />

must use a Penn State email address.<br />

2.2.7.12. All advertising (including flyers, banners, press releases etc.) must be<br />

submitted with the Alternative Fundraiser Request. There are fields to upload<br />

images as well as a text box to describe IN DETAIL all plans for advertising.<br />

2.2.7.12.1. No advertisement is permitted before September 15 th , 2012<br />

without approval from the Overall Public Relations Chairperson, Cat<br />

Powers, or Overall Rules and Regulations Chairperson, Mike Wellner.<br />

2.2.7.12.2. It is strictly prohibited to print any advertising before approval from<br />

the Public Relations Committee.<br />

2.2.7.12.3. All Advertising Materials should include “benefiting THON” or “For<br />

The Kids”.<br />

2.2.7.12.4. Unauthorized use of THON’s logo including the shuttershade,<br />

FT5K, or any previous logos is prohibited.<br />

2.2.7.12.5. If an Organization would like any supplies from THON (i.e.<br />

merchandise, advertisements using THON’s name) they may request<br />

this while filling out the Fundraiser Request Form.<br />

2.2.7.13. Merchandise Regulations<br />

2.2.7.13.1. All t-shirt designs must be approved by the Merchandise Licensing<br />

Captain by contacting licensing@thon.org. All t-shirts must be made by<br />

an approved vendor listed in this guide if they have the logo, the word<br />

THON, FTK, etc. on them. For more information on the sale of<br />

Merchandise, refer to Section 3.0.<br />

2.2.7.13.2. All merchandise sales must donate all profit to THON<br />

2.2.7.13.3. The merchandise must be marked up 15% of the cost in order to<br />

be approved.<br />
