7. Note that the THON Rules & Regulations Committee reserves the right to refuse access to the floor. The
THON Rules & Regulations Committee also reserves the right to suspend all of an organization’s or independent
dancer couple’s passes if a member on their Pass List violates a rule of THON weekend. Please note: if you are
paired with an organization, the actions of either member of the pair will affect both organizations.
The time period of the suspension will vary depending on the severity of the violation. The following are examples
of behavior to cause pass revocation. If any organization member is seen:
· Visibly intoxicated or bringing alcohol into the Bryce Jordan Center
· Excessively throwing objects from the stands to the floor and vice versa
· Stealing, trading, duplicating or passing passes
· Attempting to gain access to the floor with a photo ID other than one’s own
· Attempting to stay on the floor after your pass has expired
8. In order to attain access to the floor, any spectator must be on a Pass List and have pass available for their
organization at that time.
· Spectators can check their pass availability for their organization at the Pass Info Booth located at Gate A.
**Note A Pass listed as available at the Pass Info Booth may not be available by the time a
spectator reaches Floor Access in the event that another member of that organization is already
in line for that pass. It is encouraged that spectators communicate with your organization to
avoid these issues.
· When you reach the Floor Access tables at Portal 14, be sure to have a valid photo ID ready in order to
receive your pass.
· In the event that a spectator reaches Floor Access and does not have a pass available, they will be asked to
exit the Pass Line. In order to obtain a pass, they will need to return to the back of the line.
· Make sure you keep your pass visible and around your neck at all times.
9. Passes are not permitted on the Concourse Level.
· When exiting the Event Level with your pass, please return to the Pass Tables to check off and reclaim your
ID before returning to the Concourse Level
NOTE: This list is not comprehensive. Final judgments lie with the Overall Rules & Regulations
Chairperson and Rules & Regulations Captains. These guidelines should be brought to the attention
of an organization as their actions have the ability to penalize a dancer.
