TOP QUALITY FOR HIGHEST DEMANDS
Our products offer a multitude of strengths, but they have
one thing in common: they are all of excellent quality.
We operate in modern plants, using highly skilled
employees. For quality control purposes, a management
system has been established which is directly respons ible
to the managing board. The management systems at all
our sites have been certifi ed to ISO 9001.
PERFECT SOLUTIONS FOR INDIVIDUAL REQUIREMENTS
Providing competitive advantages for our business
partners is the main target of TIB Chemicals. Together
with our customers, we develop products exactly fi tting
their needs, thus increasing the quality of their products
and decreasing production costs. For example, we design
catalysts that accelerate the reaction process or manufacture
products for protection against corrosion that
are also resistant to aggressive environments.
In addition, at our Mexico and Hagen sites, we have
implemented a sustainability management system
certifi ed to ISO 14001 and an occupational health &
safety management system certifi ed to OHSAS 18001.
All our management systems ensure top quality, safety
and sustainability.
Our employees can provide on-site product development
for our customers. This helps us to understand which
product yields the best result and how it is integrated
into the existing manufacturing process.
Customised applications often require completely new
solutions, which we design on behalf of our customers.
Our scientifi c research departments develop products
and manufacturing processes that support future business
success.

FLEXIBLE DELIVERIES FOR SPECIAL DEMANDS
THE GUIDELINES
Simply fulfi lling the existing environmental guidelines
is not enough for us. In addition, we always aim to
respect nature and to deal as carefully and effi ciently as
possible with raw materials and energy sources. Recyc
ling management is a high priority for TIB Chemicals.
For example, we extract zinc from zinc-rich stripping
solutions and we recycle copper etching solutions from
our customers in the electronics industry.
We have our own waste disposal depot, which makes
the business of recycling for our customers especially
economical and cost-effective. We manage our own
water treatment plant, from which the water is discharged
directly into the Rhine. This means we not only
take on a high responsibility but we also aim to create
improved manufacturing conditions based on modern
risk management.
ACCELERATED GROWTH DUE TO
MOTIVATED EMPLOYEES
High demands on quality and service, new products
PROCESS ADDITIVES – FOR EFFICIENT PROCESSES AND TOP RESULTS
Effi cient and consistent processes are the basis for
the successful manufacture of chemical products.
TIB Chemicals AG process additives play an important
role in making this possible. REDOX products or tin(II)
sulphates in cements and cement-based formulations
ensure a long-term reduction of potentially toxic
chromates. TIB Chemicals supplies special products
individually adapted to meet the technical demands
of any production process. The same applies, for
example, to our stannous oxides, which are used for
glass colouring or in the manufacture of ceramic
colour pigments. Carefully designed features of the
particles provide a top-quality end result.
We aim to design products based on our comprehens ive
knowledge of process technologies. This approach
offers clear added technical or commercial value
to our customers. Technical expertise, quality thinking
outside the box and consistent production in-house
processes combine to provide the foundations for
successful cooperation with our customers.

BITUMEN SPECIALTIES – FOR HEAVY LOADS
Bitumen is the most important binder for asphalt
construct ion and is a basic material for the manufacture
of many innovative products in the construction
industry. TIB Chemicals processes over 150,000 tons
of bitumen compounds each year, the majority being
for toll manufacturing associated with road construction
products.
Through the oxidation and modifi cation of bitumen,
bituminous products are produced for a for a variety
of applications. These include sealing compounds in
structural and civil engineering and surface treatment
on asphalt and concrete substrates for roads, railway
track construction or airports.
For many decades, TIB Chemicals has manufactured
high-performance bitumen and modifi ed bituminous
products under the PRODODIN ® brand. Our products
are used for various fi elds of application such as raw
materials for the production of tyres, for isolation or
damping. We offer custom-made solutions, modify bitumen
according to the customers’ specifi cations and fi ll
in different sizes of drums or grind the bitumen.
Our REINAU ® brand products include joint sealing com-
pounds based on bitumen designed for concrete and/
or asphalt traffi c paths. As hot-applied systems, they
provide diverse elasticities and densities, fulfi lling high
chemical and mechanical requirements while providing
a safe and effi cient method of application.
