“BEHIND THE SCENES IN THE IDAHO LEGISLATURE” WORKSHOP<br />
Dr. Gary Moncrief and Carl Bianchi (Director, Idaho Legislative Services Organization) co-directed this year's "Behind the Scenes in<br />
the Idaho Legislature" workshop. The workshop was held on February 4 and 11, 2006, and attracted over 100 enrollees. Featured speakers<br />
included <strong>Boise</strong> <strong>State</strong> University President Dr. Robert Kustra, House Speaker Bruce Newcomb, <strong>State</strong> Senators Bart Davis, Joe Stegner,<br />
John Andreason and David Langhorst; <strong>State</strong> Representatives Wendy Jaquet and Debbie Field, and former <strong>State</strong> Representative Celia<br />
Gould. Also featured were lobbyists Lyn Darrington, Alex LaBeau, Jeremy Pisca and Ken McClure and media representatives Dan<br />
Popkey, Betsy Russell, Jon Hanian and Greg Hahn. The workshop included a tour <strong>of</strong> the capitol with commentary from Carl Bianchi.<br />
Both Gould and Pisca are graduates <strong>of</strong> the <strong>Boise</strong> <strong>State</strong> University political science department.<br />
