Legacy Technologies Inc. (LTI),
Mission, Kansas, offers contract
plating and stamping.
The 38-year-old firm produces
its own product line of Glass-
To-Metal seals for electronic
components such as crystals,
oscillators and sensors for a variety
of Electronic applications. It
operates in a newly built, specific
use 4-year-old, 30,000-sq.-ft.

which is ISO compliant, serves
customers across the globe in
such industries as aerospace,
telecommunications, automotive
and defense.
Its plating operation includes
six lines (barrel and rack) for
electroless nickel, electrolytic
nickel, electrolytic gold and
electrolytic tin-lead. Parts up to
15” in diameter can be plated. Post
baking processing is also available
as needed. State-of-the-art XRF
(X-ray flourescence) equipment
is used to precisely measure the
thickness of the plating. Other
quality testing performed at LTI
includes: solderability, thermal
cycling and adhesion testing.

RoHS Standards.

quick turnaround ranging from two
days to two weeks.”
The stamping area specializes
in extremely small parts (.003”
x .030” up to .020” x 4.750”)
in thin metals, with thicknesses
from .003” - .500. Prototypes
to production runs are available.
“We specialize in small lot
production,” states Diggett. The
company utilizes both progressive
and single-station dies in its 12

stamping is also available.
LTI’s tooling area offers die
design, die making and can also
develop, design and build fixtures,
jigs and gages. In-house heat
treating and tempering is also
available.
