Programming Software Prodoc U1<br />
Prodoc-U 1 is the<br />
configuring and<br />
documentation software<br />
for the MCS 20-11R and<br />
MCS 20-10R <strong>microLine</strong><br />
PLCs.<br />
The practical user interface in Prodoc U1 has pop-up menus<br />
and windows operated by mouse or keyboard, for fast<br />
selection of instructions. Incorrect entries are detected by a<br />
validity check and displayed in the editor. Search functions,<br />
search/replace, block processing of existing structures and<br />
direct switching between editing and online make for fast<br />
programming.<br />
The software runs on DOS or in the Windows DOS box,<br />
and is compatible with Prodoc U5, the configuring software<br />
for Schleicher Promodul controllers.<br />
The most important functions:<br />
• Editors for various languages: instruction list with macros<br />
(macro-IL), function block diagram (FBD), ladder diagram<br />
(LD), sequential function chart (SFC).<br />
<strong>microLine</strong>'s multi-tasking capability means that the<br />
languages can be mixed as required for the task or<br />
programming style.<br />
• Large programs can be subdivided<br />
• Programming with absolute or symbolic identifiers<br />
• Predefined variables (tasks, programs, inputs/outputs,<br />
flags, ...)<br />
• Variable editor<br />
• Organization of function block libraries<br />
• Communication with the PLC via serial interface<br />
• Online mode with powerflow representation<br />
