Massimo Livatino. Degree in Economics and Commerce from the University of
Parma. In 1990 was certified to practice as chartered accountant and in 1995 was
registered as a public accountant. Since 1990 he has been a lecturer of accounting and
auditing at the Luigi Bocconi University of Milan and in 1994 became a researcher at
the same University. He is a senior lecturer at SDA Bocconi, where he teaches various
Master’s courses and is scientific head of the Osservatorio di Revisione. He has
authored numerous publications on administration and control. From 2004 he has
been consultant for Chiesi Farmaceutici S.p.A., for the introduction of the internal
auditing department and provided support to the activities of said department; from
2005 he has been consultant for Interpump Group S.p.A. supporting the activities of
the internal auditing department; since 2006 he has been Chairman of the Supervisory
Body; from 2007 he has been in charge of internal auditing of SNIA S.p.A.. He is also
Chairman of the Board of Statutory Auditors of Parmalat Distribuzione Alimenti S.r.l.
and auditor of Fresenius Kabi Italia S.p.A., Fresenius Kabi Italia S.r.l. and Holostem
Terapie Avanzate S.r.l. (Chiesi Farmaceutici Group).
Giuseppe Verrascina. Degree in Economics and Commerce from the University of
Pavia, he became a chartered accountant in 1972 and is listed on the Register of
Chartered Accountants. From the 2004/2005 academic year has been contract
professor of Auditing at the University of Trieste. In 1982 was called to join Consob
as an expert by Chairman Guido Rossi. As part of said role, he carried out activities in
the corporate and stock exchange areas, with a special focus on market supervision
matters. He left Consob in October 1984. Between 1986 and 1992 he was a member of
the Board of Statutory Auditors, upon appointment by Consob, of Monte Titoli S.p.A.
and from 1992 to 1996 was the CEO of said company upon appointment by the Bank
of Italy. As part of said role, he led the privatisation of the company now controlled by
Borsa Italiana S.p.A.. From 1997 he has been Standing Auditor, upon appointment by
the Bank of Italy, of MTS S.p.A. (Market and Government Securities Company) and,
as a result of the change in the governance model, in 2005 became a member of the
Supervisory Board. He holds roles in the corporate bodies of some companies and
entities as director or auditor.
