Method Description<br />

GetPrevSibling Given a document in a view, returns the<br />

document immediately preceding the given<br />

document at the same level.<br />

MarkRead Marks the document as read.<br />

MarkUnread Marks the document as unread.<br />

Refresh Updates a view’s contents with any changes that<br />

have occurred to the database since the<br />

NotesView object was created, or since the last<br />

Refresh.<br />

Remove Permanently deletes a view from a database.<br />

Property Description<br />

Aliases Read-only.The alternative names <strong>for</strong> the view.<br />

AutoUpdate Read-Write. Boolean. If true, the view will<br />

update itself automatically.<br />

NotesViewColumnArray Read-only. All the columns in a view.<br />

Created Read-only. The date that a view was created.<br />

IsCalendar Read-only. Indicates whether or not a view is a<br />

calendar view.<br />

IsDefaultView Read-only. Indicates whether or not a view is the<br />

default view of the database.<br />

IsFolder Read-only. Indicates whether a NotesView object<br />

represents a folder.<br />

LastModifed Read-only. The date that a view was last<br />

modified.<br />

Name Read-only. The name of a view.<br />

Parent Read-only. The database to which a view<br />

belongs.<br />

ProtectReaders Read-Write. If true, does not replace $Readers<br />

item during replication.<br />

Readers Read-Write. Indicates the readers of the view.<br />

UniversalID Read-only. The Universal ID of a view, which is<br />

a 32-character combination of letters and<br />

numbers that uniquely identifies a view across<br />

all replicas of a database.<br />
