4. Click the Methods twistie, and a list of all of the NotesDocument<br />

methods will be listed, as shown below:<br />

5. Double-click the method or property in the browser to insert the<br />

prototype code into your Notes application.<br />

Script Editor and Formula Editor<br />

The larger window below the run area is where you program the actions<br />

that Notes will execute. If the Formula radio button is selected, this area is<br />

the <strong>for</strong>mula editor. If the Script radio button is selected, this area is the<br />

script editor.<br />

When the Script button is selected, the script editor will automatically enter<br />

the appropriate Sub and End Sub statements <strong>for</strong> the specified object and<br />

event, as the following picture illustrates:<br />

Error Box<br />

This box (see figure above) is only displayed when the Script button is<br />

checked. It lists all of the syntax errors that Notes detected in your<br />

<strong>LotusScript</strong>. If there are multiple errors, clicking the arrow to the right of<br />

the error box will expand this combo box so that all syntax errors found are<br />

displayed. You can navigate to a specific error in the list, no matter where<br />

in the application it is located, by selecting it from the drop-down list.<br />
