OX Indicates oxygen servicing when type of servicing is unknown.<br />

NOTE: Combinations of above items is used to indicate complete oxygen servicing available;<br />

LHOXRB Low <strong>and</strong> high pressure oxygen servicing <strong>and</strong> replacement bottles;<br />

LPOXRB Low pressure oxygen replacement bottles only, etc.<br />

NOTE: Aircraft will be serviced with oxygen procured under military specifications only. Aircraft<br />

will not be serviced with medical oxygen.<br />

e. NITROGEN:<br />

LPNIT - Low pressure nitrogen servicing.<br />

HPNIT - High pressure nitrogen servicing.<br />

LHNIT - Low <strong>and</strong> high pressure nitrogen servicing.<br />

25 TRANSIENT ALERT (TRAN ALERT) - service is considered to include all services<br />

required for normal aircraft turn-around, e.g., servicing (fuel, oil, oxygen, etc.), debriefing to<br />

determine requirements for maintenance, minor maintenance, inspection <strong>and</strong> parking assistance<br />

of transient aircraft. Drag chute repack, specialized maintenance, or extensive repairs will be<br />

provided within the capabilities <strong>and</strong> priorities of the base. Delays can be anticipated after normal<br />

duty hours/holidays/weekends regardless of the hours of transient maintenance operation. Pilots<br />

should not expect aircraft to be serviced for TURN-AROUNDS during time periods when<br />

servicing or maintenance manpower is not available. In the case of airports not operated<br />

exclusively by US military, the servicing indicated by the remarks will not always be available for<br />

US military aircraft. When transient alert services are not shown, facilities are unknown. NO<br />

PRIORITY BASIS-means that transient alert services will be provided only after all the<br />

requirements for mission/tactical assigned aircraft have been accomplished.<br />

26 REMARKS - which are pertinent are shown in order of applicability. Airport operating<br />

hours are listed first followed by the major headings-RESTRICTIONS (RSTD), CAUTION, TRAFFIC<br />

PATTERN (TFC PAT), NOISE ABATEMENT (NS ABTMT), CUSTOMS/AGRICULTURE/<br />

IMMIGRATION (CSTMS/AG/IMG), <strong>and</strong> MISCELLANEOUS (MISC). Remarks applicable to a tenant<br />

on the airport are shown as the last entry. Remarks are limited to information determined<br />

essential for operational use <strong>and</strong> are outlined in paragraph 26 a. If a special need exists for<br />

publication of data not covered, station comm<strong>and</strong>ers should forward request to the appropriate<br />

office (listed in Chapter 11 of FLIP General Planning) with full justification of operational need.<br />

Paragraph 26 b. contains data not normally published.<br />
