There’s nothing like riding with the locals
to help you see the best trails a new
destination has to offer. Our expert
guides know their locations intimately
and are looking forward to showing you
around.
Independent Riding
Alternatively, when our bikes are not
being used on guided rides, enjoy the
freedom to explore independently, with
our easy-to-follow route cards. We’ll
supply all you need - helmets, gloves,
spares and water bottles. All we ask is
that you don’t ride alone and that you’re
back by the time requested by our staff.
Vassiliki, Halkidiki and Teos - These
centres offer some of the finest
mountain biking we know, and we
provide experienced bike guides, trained
to meet the needs of all riders, including
the keenest bikers. Most days there will
be two or three rides of various lengths
and difficulties. Our Book-a-Bike option
enables you to reserve a bike for your
sole use.
Lesvos, Lemnos, Sivota, Foca, Adakoy
and Ortakent - Guests choosing one of
these centres will enjoy a good variety
of guided rides in addition to a whole
host of other activities. Beginner and
intermediate mountain bikers can
choose between gentle routes or tough
challenges, taking place in the cooler
parts of the day.
Book-A-Bike
If you are looking forward to spending
much of your holiday on two wheels,
you may like to consider our Book-a-Bike
option, available at Neilson Teos in
Turkey, Neilson Anastasia, Greece and
Cosmos Beachclub, Greece . We
reserve a specific size of bike for your
use throughout your holiday. Our skilled
guides will set up your bike for optimum
comfort, and will be happy to fit your
own saddle and pedals if you have
brought your favourites with you. We
can also offer Book-a-Bike Road bikes in
Sivota and Phokaia. Book-a-Bike is
available for £55 per week.
Equipment
We keep bikes in a variety of frame
sizes, which tend to suit anyone taller
than around 5'1". Helmets, gloves and
water bottles are provided; all you need
is a pair of trainers, along with
comfortable shorts and a t-shirt.
Sunglasses are also recommended. Our
guides can fit female- specific saddles to
many of our bikes, and you're welcome
to bring your own pedals if you use a
clipless shoe system.
Bringing your own bike
If you'd like to bring your own bike, we
will happily provide storage space for it
with our bikes, though it will remain your
responsibility. We recommend that you
insure your bike and make sure it is in
good mechanical condition prior to your
holiday. Arrangements can vary between
airlines, so enquire with them regarding
bike carriage. Please let us know if you
will be bringing your bike, so we can
arrange transport for it when you arrive.
