The research problem is to develop a framework for implementing VDS
into architectural design education. As described above the research
adopted an action research method. 251 The action research method in
turns embraces a cyclical style. The research undergoes three phases.
Each phase consists of three stages. These stages are called
respectively the observation, the construction, and the evaluation. Each
stage is processed using different research approaches. These
approaches are: the descriptive approach, the constructive approach
