<strong>framework</strong> <strong>for</strong> <strong>in</strong>troduc<strong>in</strong>g technology <strong>in</strong> architecture education. This<br />

<strong>framework</strong> consisted <strong>of</strong> important components that Reffat anticipated.<br />

This <strong>framework</strong> will potentially facilitate an effective utilisation <strong>of</strong><br />

<strong>in</strong><strong>for</strong>mation technology <strong>in</strong> architectural <strong>design</strong> education. While Andia 223<br />

highlights that <strong>for</strong> <strong>in</strong><strong>for</strong>mation technology to be effectively utilised; it<br />

should address communication and collaboration issues. This <strong>in</strong>cludes<br />

re<strong>design</strong><strong>in</strong>g <strong>the</strong> curriculum arrangements <strong>for</strong> better management and<br />

delivery <strong>of</strong> resources; facilitat<strong>in</strong>g <strong>the</strong> communications between<br />

stakeholders and architectural pr<strong>of</strong>essionals; provid<strong>in</strong>g a plat<strong>for</strong>m that<br />

can support <strong>design</strong><strong>in</strong>g, present<strong>in</strong>g, and review<strong>in</strong>g <strong>the</strong> products <strong>of</strong><br />

architectural <strong>design</strong> education. Figure 3.2 proposed by Reffat <strong>in</strong> which<br />

he summarises <strong>the</strong> important components <strong>of</strong> <strong>in</strong>tegrat<strong>in</strong>g IT <strong>in</strong>to <strong>design</strong><br />

education.<br />
