1.4 Problem Statement
(Enterprise) Architecture Process Cycle
With what has been described above we now arrive at the main purpose
of this research. It will address the issue of utilising technology for
teaching complex skills at the conceptual end of the architectural design
process. This is to be achieved with the aim of encouraging creativity
and collaboration within architectural design education in the UAE. The
UAE is one of the fastest developing countries in the world. Official
higher education in the UAE is a relatively new academic process. The
UAE higher education started when the UAE federal government
established the United Arab Emirates University (UAEU) in 1977. This
date marked the first formal higher education system in the UAE. Until
then, the UAE society practiced no formal higher education;
