14. Coprocessor 0 This chapter describes the Coprocessor 0 operation, concentrating on the CP0 register definitions and the R10000 processor implementation of CP0 instructions. The Coprocessor 0 (CP0) registers control the processor state and report its status. These registers can be read using MFC0 instructions and written using MTC0 instructions.
