<strong>Temple</strong> <strong>City</strong> High School’s<br />
<strong>Pep</strong> <strong>Team</strong> recently won five<br />
<strong>awards</strong> at the Sharp International<br />
State Championship<br />
<strong>competition</strong> at Knott’s Berry<br />
Farm.<br />

Marta Bourjeili and Coaches<br />
Kyleen Hurtado and Daniel<br />
Huynh, the <strong>TCHS</strong> Cheer team<br />
won Second Place and a Showmanship<br />
Award. <strong>Pep</strong> Flags and<br />
Song both received First Place<br />
trophies in their division and<br />
earned the “State Champions”<br />
title.<br />
“I am so proud of these girls;<br />
they have outstanding work<br />
ethics and truly deserve these<br />
<strong>awards</strong>,” said elated <strong>Pep</strong> advisor,<br />
Ms. Bourjeili.<br />
