Salon, and Kyla Sickles, a member<br />

of the 2008-2009 Miss<br />

<strong>Temple</strong> <strong>City</strong> Honor Court.<br />

The pageant theme was Just<br />

the Way You Are. Master of Ceremonies<br />

was Clark Macy. To<br />

open the event, the first-grade<br />

members of the 2011 Camellia<br />

Festival Royal Court led the audience<br />

in the Pledge of Allegiance.<br />

Both judges were from out<br />

of town. They were Field<br />

Deputy Brian Mejia of County<br />

Supervisor Michael<br />

Antonovich’s office and Joyce<br />

Stember, real estate professional<br />

for Prudential of California.<br />

The vote tabulator was Kathy<br />

Chambers of Quality Bookkeeping.<br />

<strong>City</strong> College Lancer<br />

Marching Band and the San<br />

Gabriel Valley Special Olympics.<br />

Mr. Macy did his usual<br />

excellent job at this year’s pageant.<br />
