<strong>In</strong>formation: Senior citizen fares are available 9am–4pm and after 6pm weekdays, and all<br />
weekend and public holidays. Senior citizen fares are only available to passengers with a<br />
valid permit.<br />
If you are a <strong>Wellington</strong> <strong>City</strong> resident and qualify for beneficiary fares you must go to a<br />
<strong>Wellington</strong> <strong>City</strong> <strong>Council</strong> Service Centre and prove your age or situation (invalid, widow,<br />
domestic purposes beneficiary). If eligible, you will be issued with a yellow card (permit).<br />
The card must be shown to the driver in order to get the cheaper fare.<br />
Example: A person over 60 years old who is a <strong>Wellington</strong> <strong>City</strong> resident is eligible for a<br />
beneficiary fare but must take along proof of their age (passport or birth certificate, etc)<br />
and proof they live in the <strong>Wellington</strong> <strong>City</strong> (a telephone or power bill, bank statement, etc).<br />
They will then be issued with a card.<br />
The following <strong>Wellington</strong> <strong>City</strong> <strong>Council</strong> Service Centres issue beneficiary ID:<br />
