The Disability Reference Group (DRG) advises and responds to the <strong>Wellington</strong> <strong>City</strong><br />

<strong>Council</strong> and the community on issues that concern people with disabilities in <strong>Wellington</strong>.<br />

The DRG is the first line of contact between the <strong>Council</strong> and people with disabilities. The<br />

DRG provides advice and assists with consultation with people with disabilities.<br />

The purpose of the group is also to build:<br />

� people with disabilities’ knowledge of <strong>Council</strong> processes to enable them to<br />

participate in <strong>Council</strong> decision-making processes<br />
