KATER II Geology of the Rax-Schneeberg-region __________________________________________________________________________________________ Acknowledgements Early mapping activities in the area between Schneeberg and Naßwald have started in 1993 in the frame of Project WA 4a. Financial support was given in the frame of the “Bund/Bundesländerkooperation for raw material research” by the government of Vienna / MA 31 and by the Austrian ministry for science and research. Additional mapping in 2004-05, compilation and actualisation of maps, construction of cross sections, GIS – operating etc. have been supported in the frame of KATER II by the government of Vienna and by the European Union program Interreg III C.
