Megaplier does NOT apply to the JACKPOT. Odds based on 1 play for $1. Prizes are
approximately 50.0% of sales. *The prize money allocated to the JACKPOT shall be
equally divided by the number of plays correctly matching all 6 numbers. A JACKPOT
winner has 60 days from date of ticket validation to select either the Annuity payment
method of 26 annual installments or the Cash Option payment method. A Cash Option
JACKPOT prize will be equal to the total cash held for the JACKPOT prize pool, which
will be less than the estimated JACKPOT. Effective September 14, 2010, the Megaplier
for the $250,000 prize will never be less than 4. Claim prizes up to $599 at a Lottery
retailer. Prizes $600 and higher must be claimed at a Lottery office or by mail. Tickets,
transactions and winners subject to state law and Lottery regulations. Tickets void if
stolen, mutilated, altered, unreadable, counterfeit, misregistered, defective or fail to
pass the Lottery’s confidential validation tests. Purchasers must be at least 18 years old.
Prizes not claimed within 180 days after drawing are forfeited. JACKPOTS not won will

HOW TO PLAY MEGA MILLIONS
• Choose 5 different numbers from 1 through
56 and 1 Mega Ball number from 1 through 46.
• Players can place their wagers by using the
MEGA MILLIONS playslip, which is available
where lotto games are sold.
• Players can also ask for a QUICK PICK to
choose the numbers the easy way, by letting
the computer pick the numbers randomly.
• Choose how many draws to play. Each ticket
costs $1 per play per draw. You can play
MEGA MILLIONS up to 4 weeks in advance
at one time.
• You can select the Megaplier feature for a
chance to multiply your winnings. (See What
is Megaplier section).
• Check your playslip carefully before handing
it to the retailer. MEGA MILLIONS TICKETS
CANNOT BE CANCELLED.
• Give completed playslip and cash to the
retailer. Receive, sign and safeguard your
ticket. You will need your ticket to claim your
prize. The playslip is not valid for prize claim.
• For each play, all six selected numbers are
printed on one line of the ticket with the
Mega Ball number printed to the right under
the word “MEGA.”
HOW TO MULTIPLY YOUR WINNINGS

What is Megaplier?
• For an extra $1 per play per drawing,
Megaplier multiplies your winnings. For every
Mega Millions drawing, a Megaplier number
from 2 through 4 is drawn.
• If your ticket wins a prize from $2 to
$250,000, and you added Megaplier, your
prize will be multiplied by that drawing’s
Megaplier number.
Example: If you added the Megaplier
and your prize is $150, and the Megaplier
number selected was 3, you win $450
($150 x 3). Effective September 14, 2010,
the Megaplier for the $250,000 prize will
never be less than 4.
• To select Megaplier, mark the Megaplier box on
the playslip or ask the clerk to add Megaplier.
