precious moments watch<strong>in</strong>g her when he could have<br />
been help<strong>in</strong>g out.<br />
“Here, I can do that.”<br />
She raised an eyebrow. “So can I. Sit down. You’re<br />
a guest.”<br />
“Let me at least set <strong>the</strong> table.”<br />
She appeared torn, <strong>the</strong>n pulled some dishes out of a<br />
cupboard to <strong>the</strong> right of <strong>the</strong> s<strong>in</strong>k and handed <strong>the</strong>m to<br />
him. “Silverware is <strong>the</strong> top drawer on your right.”<br />
“Glasses?”<br />
“Left of <strong>the</strong> s<strong>in</strong>k.”<br />
For a moment <strong>the</strong>y worked <strong>in</strong> a <strong>com</strong>panionable<br />
