The foregoing shows a decreased output in<br />

1904, as compared with 1903, of 335,037 tons in<br />

quantity and of $1,580,191 in value. The following<br />

statement shows the quantities of coal ex­<br />

ported from New South Wales in 1904 and the<br />

quantities consumed in New South Wales during<br />

the year:<br />
