The launching of the lake steamship Francis L.
Robbins from the yards of the American Ship­
building" Co. at Cleveland, on .January 19, was
successful both as a marine and as a social affair,
a large numlier of visitors being present. The
traditional christening process was performed by
Miss Zuleika Becker, the daughter of W. H.
Becker, president and manager of the Robbins
Transportation Co., which will operate the vessel.
