Class Features<br />
<strong>The</strong> following are the class features for the Elven Avenger<br />
prestige class.<br />
Weapon and Armour Proficiency: An Elven Avenger<br />
gains no proficiency with weapons or armour.<br />
Darkvision (Ex): <strong>The</strong> Elven Avenger gains darkvision to<br />
a range of 120 feet. This replaces his usual elven low light<br />
vision.<br />
Pierce the Shadow I (Ex): <strong>The</strong> spell resistance of the<br />
drow is one of the greatest abilities of the dark elves, but<br />
from 2 nd level, the Elven Avenger is equipped to counter<br />
it. Whenever the Elven Avenger casts a spell, he may add<br />
a bonus of +2 to his roll to overcome the spell resistance<br />
of his target.<br />
Allfather’s Blessing (Su): At 3 rd level, the might of the<br />
Allfather works through the Elven Avenger, allowing him<br />
to add his Charisma modifier (if positive) as a bonus to all<br />
saving throw checks.<br />
Light of Truth (Sp): At 4 th level, the Elven Avenger may, as<br />
a free action, activate the Light of Truth ability. This ability<br />
causes the Elven Avenger to glow brilliantly, as though he<br />
were affected by a daylight spell, except that the duration is<br />
up to 10 rounds per class level. <strong>The</strong> Light of Truth may be<br />
ended at any time before its duration runs out, but may not<br />
be dispelled by deeper darkness. <strong>The</strong> Elven Avenger may<br />
use this ability once per day for every two levels he has in<br />
the Elven Avenger prestige class.<br />
Pierce the Shadow II (Ex): As Pierce the Shadow I, except<br />
the bonus is +4.<br />
Deepsight (Su): <strong>The</strong> darkness spells cast by the drow are<br />
no impediment to the Elven Avenger, whose darkvision<br />
ability allows him to see in even magical darkness.<br />
Cry of Vengeance (Su): So bright and righteous is the<br />
wrath of the Elven Avenger that his enemies quail before<br />
him at the sound of his battle cry, which he may make once<br />
per day per class level as a free action. Any drow within<br />
a 30 ft. radius of the Elven Avenger who means him harm<br />
and hears his battle cry must make a Will save (DC 10 +<br />
Avenger’s class level + Avenger’s Charisma modifier) or<br />
suffer a –2 penalty on all attack rolls, saving throws, ability<br />
checks, skill checks and damage rolls. This effect lasts for<br />
two rounds per level of the Elven Avenger.<br />
Pierce the Shadow III (Ex): As Pierce the Shadow I,<br />
except the bonus is +6.
