By default, legends are based on JDOffice’s own color spectrum where green is the
highest value and yellow is the lowest. You have the option to select the colors you want
to see on your map legends. There are two ways to do this: by picking the first and last
color and letting JDOffice create a gradual blend between the two; or by picking each color
individually.
All coloring schemes you create will be listed in a drop-down box on the
Legend Setup tab next to the Update button. If you want a color
scheme other than the JDOffice Color Scheme, you can “attach” it to
any legend listed in the Legends list. If you do not want to create or use
your own color schemes, the JDOffice Color Scheme will be used by
default.
The JDOffice Color Scheme is the only one that cannot be edited or deleted. If you delete
a legend scheme that is attached to a specific legend, that legend’s color scheme will
default back to the JDOffice Color Scheme.
Create a legend color scheme:
1. From the Setup menu, select Flags/Legends
2. Select the Legend Schemes tab.
3. Click New.
4. In Scheme name, enter the new name.
Select one of the options: JDOffice creates a two color gradient, or you pick all of the colors.
