Compress Distances on the Farm Map

The default of JDOffice is to have this option checked. Although enlarged, the fields will
remain proportionate in size, and in the correct geographic position to one another.
However, because the program recalculates the distance between the fields to be able to
display them all on the farm map, the distance between fields will be distorted, and the
printed map will not be to scale.
If this box is unchecked, the fields on the farm map might be
extremely far apart, making it difficult to analyze. The graphic to
the right is an example of this.
The same farm with its three fields is displayed twice. The farm on
top is with compression turned off and the farm on the bottom is
with compression turned on. If your farm has several fields that are
spread out, you can see how difficult it could become to see them
all at once on the farm map if the field compression feature is
turned off.
If you do not have the compression option checked, the longitude and latitude of any tool’s
position on the farm map will display at the bottom of the screen.
This option needs to be turned off before viewing TIGER data on the farm map.
Draw Points in Reverse on Field Map
Points are drawn on the field map in the order in which the equipment collects data. If you
drive over a part of the field that has already been harvested (end rows), these points will
display on “top” of the points which were collected first. Because you have already
harvested this area, these new points will have zero yield and will be represented by the
lowest legend color on the field map. The correct yield results are actually “underneath”
these points.
