Minimize, Maximize, Restore, and Exit
All applications (and most windows) have three buttons at the top right corner of the
screen. Minimizing is useful if you want to get a window out of the way without closing it.
The open application/window will become an icon next to the Start menu at the bottom of
the screen.

• To maximize a window or application (fill your entire screen), click
• To restore a window or application (to regular size), click
• To exit (close) a window or application, click
Resize Screens and Windows
You may find that some windows within JDOffice are not large
enough to support all of the data that may be found there; this is
common when looking at reports or the Layers chooser.
To expand the size of a window, place the mouse pointer on a
border; the cursor will convert to a two-headed arrow if it is
expandable. Drag the border inward or outward to change the
size.
OK, Cancel or Apply
OK is used to accept the changes and close the window. Cancel
is used to ignore the changes and close the window without
saving. Apply is used to apply (and save) the changes to the
system without closing the window.
Keyboard Commands
If you are more comfortable using the keyboard, you can access some of the commands
by using keyboard combinations. On the pull-down menu there may be a keystroke
combination listed to the right of a command; that command can be accessed directly
using that combination of keys. For example, you can access the Print window by pressing
the Ctrl and P keys at the same time.
Right-Click Menus
After selecting a field, you can right-click the mouse to see a list of commands. Those
listed are the same as you would find under the Tools menu, or by using the command
