Getting Started
• If you would like a name other than the default, highlight what is there and type in a
new name. Be sure and leave C:\ and the extension .jdb.
9. A progress bar will indicate the rate of completion. Click Exit when finished.
A *.jdb file will be created. This file should always be left alone; do not try to open it - unless
you are restoring data, and then only access it through JDOffice.
Restore Backed up Data
If you regularly backup your data, you will be able to restore your farm’s current
information in the event of a computer failure.
Note: When you restore data from a Backup, all of the JDOffice data on your
computer will be replaced with the contents of the backup file.
Restore JDOffice data:
1. Close JDOffice.
2. Click on the Start button .
3. Select Programs.
4. Select GreenStar>JDBackup.
5. Click the ... (ellipse) button in the Restore section.
6. In Look In, select the drive letter of the backed up file location.
• Use the Up One Level button to move through directories.
• Select the appropriate drive letter.
