The Add, Delete and Move Points tools are only used for
editing boundary points and drain tile lines. They are not active
unless Edit is selected for the boundary layer in the Layers
chooser.
To see yield or moisture data, check the View box for a point
layer. To see where the boundary is located in relation to the
point data, move the boundary to the top of the Layers chooser.
Move Boundary Points
The Move Point tool is used to reposition a boundary point and adjust
drain tile lines. The latitude and longitude of each anchor point will
display at the bottom of JDOffice as you select or move the point.
When selected, the mouse pointer will convert to .
Move a boundary or drain tile point:
1. Click Layers .
2. Select Edit for the boundary or drain tile layer.
3. Click Up to move the chosen layer to the top of the field map.
4. Click Move Point .
5. Place the mouse icon on the point and drag it to the new location.
• The lines connected to the point will stretch as you move it.
6. Release the mouse to anchor the point at the new location.
Add Boundary Points
The Add Point tool is used to insert an additional point to the boundary
or drain tile line. If your current boundary has long line segments and
does not fit the outline of the field well, you may want to add points to have
more control adjusting it.
