• If you make a mistake or want to cancel the shape you are creating,
press the keyboard Esc key.
6. To close the polygon, click the final point on top of the first point you made.
7. Click Close on the Selection Info window when finished.
Histograms
At the bottom of the Selection Info window is a Show
Histogram button. A histogram is a bar graph that represents
specific frequencies of a value. In JDOffice, each bar
represents the number of acres for each value in the legend.
If you change legends, the histogram will change to reflect
the new values.
Histograms can be viewed on filtered or unfiltered maps.
Histograms always print on soil type maps and they print on
point maps and application plans according to the options
selected on the Printer Preferences tab.
View a histogram:
1. Click Layers .
2. Check View for any point layer (it must also be highlighted).
• If necessary, click Up to make the field layer viewable.
Note: Selection info shows the histogram for the layer selected in
the Layer List; not on the layer shown in Farm or Field view.
3. Select the Polygon Info or Rectangle Info tool.

• Histograms can also be viewed while using the Polygon Cross-Section
tool.
Draw a rectangle or polygon around the area to be analyzed.
5. Click Show Histogram in the Selection Info window.
6. Click Hide Histogram to close the graph, or Close when finished.
Delete Unwanted Points
The Delete Points tool is used to delete point sites (which are currently
selected by either the Point Info, Rectangle Info, or Polygon Info tools)
from a point map. These points can also be deleted by using the
