JDOffice 1.2 Activating JDOffice Every installation of JDOffice will produce a unique Site Code and work as an Evaluation copy. Before you can have a full working version of the program, you must call the CCC at 1-888-GRN-STAR to obtain the corresponding Site Key which will “unlock” the program. The evaluation version of JDOffice is limited to four (4) unloads/imports per computer - regardless of the number of times the program was installed. You can use any combination of these functions four times; this could include four of one, or one of each. JDOffice will count each time one of these types of commands is selected. A JDOffice License Status screen will appear at startup and whenever you try to access restricted functionality (unloads/ imports). You have the option to activate the program then, or activating it later. However, when you have used all four, and you want to unload or import any data in the future, you must click Activate to register the application. If you choose not to activate JDOffice at this time, the program will work with limited functionality. Each installation will have a different Site Code, you will need the corresponding number of Site Keys to make all of them fully functional. Register JDOffice: 1. On the JDOffice License Status screen, click Activate. 2. Call the CCC and give them: 4a. your 13 digit Serial Number (found on the JDOffice CD case) 4b. the Site Code from the Authorize JDOffice screen 3. The CCC will give you a Site Key, which you must enter on the Authorize JDOffice screen. 4. Click OK. Your copy of JDOffice is now activated and all of its functions are fully available. 8
Starting JDOffice 9 Installation JDOffice can be opened from the desktop shortcut - which was created during the installation (if you selected this option) - or from the Start menu. Of the three applications that install (JDOffice, JDDBManager, and JDBackup) only one of them can be running at a time. If you try to run a second application, you will receive an error message reminding you to shut down the running application before you start the new one. Start JDOffice: 1.
