Farm Maps
A farm map is an “aerial view” of all the fields (and their boundaries) within the
currently selected farm. These fields are created from the data gathered while
working in the field, and are color-coded by crop.
The current processing season determines the year of
data that the farm map displays. Field boundaries are not
year-specific, so they will appear on the farm map
regardless of the selected processing year. For ease in changing the current
processing year, a spin box is located on the bottom right side of the JDOffice
screen.
View a farm map:
1. From the Startup screen, click on the Maps icon.
• Or select Farm Map from the View menu.
2. Select Farm Maps.
As you move the mouse pointer over a field, the field name and crop planted will
appear at the lower left corner of the screen. If you have the compression option
unchecked on the Maps Preferences tab, the longitude and latitude of any tool’s
position on the farm map will display at the bottom of the screen.
If any fields in the active farm map contain harvest data for the active year, they
