The Create New U2 Server dialog appears, as shown in the following example: In the Name box, enter a unique name of the UniVerse or UniData server. In the Host box, enter a valid network name for the host. Select either UniData or UniVerse to define the database you are using.

The following screen appears: Protocol Type In the Protocol Type box, make sure the type of communication you are using to the server is Default or TCP/IP.
