SEPERATE SWITCH LEGS
The Seperate Switch Legs option (SL) allows a select pair of
lamps to be turned off without affecting other lamps, thereby
lowering light levels and diminishing energy consumption.
Each ballast powers 2 lamps, so an 8-lamp model would have
4 ballasts, a 6-lamp model would have 3 ballasts and a 4-lamp
model would have 2 ballasts.
Generally the Decobays have a single set of leads to allow for
a quick and easy installation, in which case all the lamps must
be turned off simultaneously. The SL option must be selected
when ordering for the ballasts to be wired individually. In this
case, the installer will wire the ballasts to a control system
allowing the respective pairs of lamps to operate individually.
