SEPERATE SWITCH LEGS<br />
The Seperate Switch Legs option (SL) allows a select pair of<br />
lamps to be turned off without affecting other lamps, thereby<br />
lowering light levels and diminishing energy consumption.<br />
Each ballast powers 2 lamps, so an 8-lamp model would have<br />
4 ballasts, a 6-lamp model would have 3 ballasts and a 4-lamp<br />
model would have 2 ballasts.<br />
Generally the <strong>Deco</strong>bays have a single set of leads to allow for<br />
a quick and easy installation, in which case all the lamps must<br />
be turned off simultaneously. The SL option must be selected<br />
when ordering for the ballasts to be wired individually. In this<br />
case, the installer will wire the ballasts to a control system<br />
allowing the respective pairs of lamps to operate individually.<br />

SUMMARY<br />
The 1400 <strong>Deco</strong>bay <strong>Series</strong> features luminaires that are ideal for<br />
decorative open-ceiling type applications such as retail spaces,<br />
arenas, libraries and schools. Recommended ceiling heights<br />
range from 12’ to 25’.<br />
These luminaires combine the high performances and the<br />
rugged components of industrial luminaires with sleek and<br />
modern aesthetics, allowing the <strong>Deco</strong>bays to enhance any<br />
architectural environment. <strong>Deco</strong>bays are also available in a<br />
variety of sizes and wattages, and a wide range of detailing<br />
options exists for customization.<br />
The multiple compact fl uorescent feature allows for different<br />
light levels within the same fi xture through the use of separate<br />
switch legs. This allows a select pairs of lamps to be turned<br />
off without affecting other lamps, thereby lowering light levels<br />
and diminishing energy consumption.<br />
The aluminum refl ector on certain models is anodized on the<br />
inside to maximize effi ciency, while the prismatic refractor<br />
of other models allows for maximum uniformity and a soft,<br />
diffused uplight. Other features of the 1400 <strong>Deco</strong>bay <strong>Series</strong><br />
include cover options such as fl at, conical and drop lenses, as<br />
well as a protective wire guard.
