why use water distribution manifolds?<br />
Note: Please note that the use of water distribution manifolds is restricted to installations using mains pressure<br />
water supplies and/or combination boilers.<br />
• The use of water distribution manifolds in mains pressure installations<br />
is an ideal way of giving ultimate serviceability of all your bathroom<br />
products. This offers a very professional installation that is both quiet<br />
and easy to install.<br />
• The diagram below show separate hot and cold water manifolds<br />
being positioned within the pre-wall void, so that they are accessible<br />
through the over basin shelf.<br />
• Hot and cold water is connected to one end of each manifold which<br />
has a 3/4” thread. The separate appliances (i.e. the WC system, the<br />
bath/shower valve and the basin) are then piped back to the 1/2”<br />
male threads on the manifolds.<br />
• The manifolds can be marked up in either blue or red (i.e. hot or<br />
cold) and they can also be configured so each outlet has the<br />
appliance name (i.e. WC, shower valve, etc.).<br />
• To make the plumbing even <strong>easi</strong>er, Easi-<strong>plan</strong> also offers a range of<br />
large bore stainless steel flexible hoses that can be used to install all<br />
the sanitaryware items. These hoses are listed on pages 36 and may<br />
be configured to bespoke sizes if required (please contact our sales<br />
office for your specific requirements).<br />

In order to improve our customer service it is necessary for <strong>Abacus</strong> to have a clear Goods Returns Policy.<br />
All <strong>Abacus</strong> products can only be returned by prior arrangement. If you wish to return goods simply contact our<br />
Returns Department as detailed below:-<br />

You will be requested to complete an <strong>Abacus</strong> <strong>Direct</strong> Stage 1 Returns Form (which is also available from our Sales<br />
Office) giving us your details, details of the product & reason for return.<br />
Once we have received this information we will then raise a case and issue you with a unique case reference<br />
number.<br />
Any products that are no longer required must be returned within 3 months of the original purchase date. All<br />
returned products must be in their original packaging and be fit for resale as damaged products cannot be<br />
credited. A 20% restocking charge + uplift fee will apply. Uplift charges will depend on the type of product and<br />
number of items being returned. If the boxes are not fit for resale then Re-boxing charges may also apply. All<br />
charges will be agreed by the returns department prior to uplift.<br />
Should you experience a fault with one of our products our Returns Department will investigate the matter fully.<br />
Faulty products must be reported within the stated guarantee period.<br />
Any products that are reported as faulty prior to install can be reported by providing us with an image of the fault<br />
via email or by sending an MMS text message. If required goods can then be uplifted, inspected & credited.<br />
Our Returns Department will deal with the end user directly regarding products reported as faulty after install,<br />
where appropriate.<br />
In the event that the fault is not covered under the warranty the Returns Department will provide a full report<br />
outlining the findings.<br />
Special Stock items are considered a specialist order and therefore will not be accepted for return under any<br />
circumstance. All special stock items will be confirmed in the Sales Order Acknowledgement upon initial ordering<br />
with our Sales Office.<br />
Items fitted and/or damaged by the customer cannot be returned.<br />
In the event of courier damaged product you must contact our Sales Office immediately. Damaged product MUST<br />
be reported within 24 hours of delivery. Goods must be signed as ‘damaged’ with our courier.<br />
Due to our commitment to continuous product development we reserve the right to alter specifications without notice.<br />
Guarantee: Easi-<strong>plan</strong> products are guaranteed against manufacturing defects for 10 years for the first purchaser. The product<br />
will be replaced or refunded at the manufacturer’s discretion. No other loss is guaranteed. The guarantee is non-transferable.<br />
Proof of purchase will be required.<br />
