spirit <strong>of</strong> the turn <strong>of</strong> the century Cleveland Park Victorian houses and create<br />
his own personal interpretations <strong>of</strong> that romantic vision for the 1980*s. He<br />
designed a house that was inspired by the spirit <strong>of</strong> the houses which John<br />
Sherman and his architects created for the Cleveland Park Company. In 1986 a<br />
frame house in a contemporary adaptation <strong>of</strong> the shingle style was built to the<br />
design <strong>of</strong> Theresa Weinheimer on the east side <strong>of</strong> 35th St. between Macomb and<br />
Newark Streets. So the tradition continues with architects <strong>of</strong> the 80's<br />
designing individual, innovative houses representing the latest ideas about<br />
architecture and design, while at the same time showing respect for the past<br />
styles <strong>of</strong> Cleveland Park and even occasionally being inspired by them.
