Characterize potential pathways and rates of migration of compounds of potential concern<br />

, on the Site<br />

Evaluate potential receptors of compounds of potential concern associated with the historic<br />

mining at the Site<br />

Characterize the Site for the presence or absence of natural resource injuries<br />

Evaluate the analytical data generated from the investigation in terms of applicable,<br />

relevant, and appropriate regulations, including both state and federal requirements<br />

Provide data of sufficient quantity and quality so that the FS can evaluate cost-effective<br />

remedial alternatives that will address significant environmental concerns identified on the<br />

Site<br />

The preliminary list of remedial alternatives were presented in the Alternative Development and Screening<br />

Technical Memorandum which accompanied the Draft RI Report dated April 13, 1998. The results of<br />

alternative analyses will be presented in the FS.<br />

1.3 REPORT ORGANIZATION<br />

The scope of work included in this report was Specified in the Drafi RIIFS Work Plan dated June 1997<br />

(<strong>Dames</strong> & <strong>Moore</strong>, 19978). The format of the report is outlined below, and generally follows EPA guidance<br />

(1988). This report is divided into 11 Sections and Appendices as follows:<br />
