The Practical Nursing program is designed to prepare 

students to become safe, competent practitioners in 

the delivery of health care. Licensed Practical Nurses 

(LPN) administer basic nursing care to sick, injured, 

convalescing and disabled people under the supervision 

of a doctor or registered nurse. 

JOb duTies: 

Perform routine nursing duties (blood pressure, 

temperature, pulse, respiration and record medical 

history) 

Schedule appointments 

Apply bandages and provide wound care 

Document and record information 

Communicate effectively with patients and coworkers 

May administer prescribed medications or start

Radiographers use diagnostic imaging equipment to 

produce radiographic (x-ray) images of the tissue, organs, 

bones, and vessels of the body to aid in the diagnosis of 

medical problems.

Transport patient to operating room 

Operate equipment, such as lights or suction machines 

Clean and restock the operating room
