Comments: My earliest matrilineal ancestors were: Millie Fuqua Pool (b 1804 in
GA), Nancy Ann Chapman (b c1780 in NC), Millie Fuqua (b c 1755 in NC), possibly
a woman named Prudence (b c 1725 in VA?). The paternal lines for the spouses of
these women mostly went back into VA. Most of these people were of English
ancestry, except for the Fuqua family, which was French. I am collecting haplotypes
of Haplogroup V who have both HVR1 and HVR2 results available. Please e-mail
me if you have such a haplotype. Also, see my Haplogroup V web site, which should
be up by May, 2004.
