Comments: My DNAPrint BioGeographical Ancestry Test revealed East Asian
ancestry, which I expected based upon suspected Native American ancestry. Further
evaluation of the data revealed sequences related to the peoples of the SW United
States. As a result, I was not surprised upon discovering that I belong to
Haplogroup B. I have only just begun tracing my maternal ancestry. So far, I am at
Mattie, born in the late 1860s, early 1870s in Alabama. She married a man by the
name of Jack Williams (also from Alabama) and moved to Louisiana where their
children and subsequent generations were born.
