Major William Hazard Knowles, born Sept. 7, 1765, died Sept. 23, 1815. I am told<br />
this line to be of English ancestry. I have not yet received Y-DNA results, my<br />
father's line is of Welsh ancenstry.<br />

Rowan Co., NC. Barbara's mother was simply known as Elizabeth. We don't know<br />
her surname. The Lentz's were from Germany but we don't know where the<br />
Jacksons originated.<br />
