11) WARRANTY AND SUBMISSION OF BANK GUARANTEE:
Laptops shall carry a free comprehensive, onsite international warranty for a
minimum period of Three (3) Years , however, for Battery, Power Cord and
Adaptor, it is one year warranty including replacement.
Bank may enter into annual maintenance contract (AMC) with the Vendor after
completion of free warranty period of three years at mutually agreed rates
between the Bank and the Vendor.
WARRANTY:
a) The Bidder warrants that the Goods supplied under the Contract are new,
unused and shall have no defect arising from design, materials or
workmanship.
b) This Warranty shall remain valid for a minimum period of 36 (Thirty Six)
months after the goods, or any portion thereof as the case may be, have
been delivered to and accepted at the final destination indicated in the
Contract, or for minimum period of 39 (Thirty Nine) months after the date of
delivery, whichever period concludes earlier.
c) Within Thirty (30) days of the acceptance of the Purchase Order from the
Bank, the Selected Bidder shall furnish the Performance Security (BG)
equivalent to 10% (ten percent) of the Contract Value from the reputed
Banks in India, other than SyndicateBank for the period of 42 months as per
the format.
� If BG is not submitted within stipulated time, a penalty at the rate of
0.50% of the Contract Value of Laptops will be levied for every week
subject to a maximum of 10% of the Contract Value of Laptops.
Failure of the Selected Bidder to comply with the requirement of accepting
the Purchase Order and/or submitting Performance Security shall constitute
sufficient grounds for the annulment of the award and forfeiture of the Bid
Security.
12) PAYMENT TERMS:
All payments will be released from our office within 30 days of claim on
submission of all relevant documents and proofs. The payments will be released
through NEFT/ RGTS and the Selected Bidder has to provide necessary Bank
Details like Account No., Bank’s Name with Branch, IFSC Code etc. Applicable
TDS, if any, will be deducted at the time of releasing the payments.
i) On Delivery: Seventy (70) % of the Contract Price of the Goods along with
100% sales tax, 100% Octroi, wherever applicable, backed by necessary
proof shall be paid on receipt of goods and upon submission of the following
documents (separate requests for release of Octroi payments will not be
entertained):
a) Bidder's Original Invoice (with certified Xerox copy), showing Contract No,
Goods description, quantity, unit price, total amount, Serial Nos. of the
Equipment/s etc.
