tHOuSANDS of years ago clay or glass bottles were sealed
with what might have been a piece of wood with some cloth
and tree pitch. Function was the only concern. Later the
Romans began to use rough pieces of natural bark cork. Whatever
the closure choice the function was the same … hold the liquid in
the container and keep the stopper and outside air from adversely
affecting the product.
Our family business has been providing quality closures for over
bottle industry.
The common goals for every distiller’s product package:
• The obvious – contain the spirits in the bottle without effect-
• Ensure that the marriage of bottle and closure create a well-
crafted package design.
Whatever the closure solution one chooses, it must help make a
positive statement about the product. Like everyone else, craft distillers
need a package that stands out. A major advantage of modern
synthetic closures has been their dependable supply and multiple
options for innovative and decorative closures.
Let us help you decide if a synthetic closure is the barstopper
you’re looking for.
