Limited Warranty
This Limited Warranty covers defects in material and workmanship in the
following components of the PAX/KOMPLEMENT wardrobes and interior
organizers described, from the date of purchase from IKEA. The original
purchase receipt is required as proof of purchase. This Limited Warranty
applies to domestic use only. • Frames • Doors • Hinges • Sliding door
mechanism • Drawer glides • Shelves and clothes rails
What products are not covered under this Limited Warranty?
KOMPLEMENT wire baskets, KOMPLEMENT plastic boxes, KOMPLEMENT
pants hangers and KOMPLEMENT shoe organizers and wire baskets for
shoes. See also “Conditions for the Limited Warranty” below.
What is the duration of the Limited Warranty?
This Limited Warranty is valid for 10 years from the date of purchase for
PAX/KOMPLEMENT wardrobes and interior organizers by the original
purchaser. See also “Conditions for the Limited Warranty” below.
What will be done to correct the problem?
IKEA will examine the product and decide if it’s covered under this
limited warranty. IKEA will then, at its choice, either repair the defective
product or replace it with the same or a comparable product. In these
cases, IKEA will be responsible for the costs of repairs, spare parts, labor
and travel for repair staff that IKEA incurs, provided that the product
is accessible for repair without IKEA incurring additional expenditure to
gain access. This will not apply in cases where repair work has not been
authorized by IKEA. Any defective parts removed in the course of repair
works will become the property of IKEA. If the item is no longer sold by
IKEA, IKEA will provide an appropriate replacement. IKEA will decide at
its discretion, what will constitute an appropriate replacement.
Conditions for the Limited Warranty:
The limited warranty is valid from the date of purchase.
The original purchase receipt is required as proof of purchase.
Exclusions:
The limited warranty does not apply to products that have been stored or
assembled incorrectly, used inappropriately, abused, misused, altered,
or cleaned with wrong cleaning methods or wrong cleaning products.
The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, cuts or scratches, or
damage caused by impacts or accidents. The warranty does not apply if
products have been placed outdoors or in a humid environment or if the
products have been used for non-domestic purposes (unless otherwise
stated). The warranty does not cover consequential or incidental

limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. The warranty is to the
benefit of the original purchaser of the product. It is not transferable.
Care instructions
Assemble according to the assembly instructions and secure the wardrobe
frames by fixing them to a wall. Keep in mind that different wall materials
require different types of wall anchors. If you are uncertain, contact your
local hardware specialist. Follow the recommended weight load, with a
maximum 44 lbs. on our 22⅞" deep shelves and 26 lbs. on our 13¾" deep
shelves, if otherwise not stated. Wipe clean with a cloth damped in mild
cleaner, then wipe clean with a dry cloth.
General Legal Rights:
This Limited Warranty gives you specific legal rights, and is in addition to
your statutory legal rights.

Contact your local IKEA store. You will find the address and phone number
in the IKEA catalog or at IKEA-USA.com. Save your sales receipt as proof
of purchase. Proof of purchase is required for the Limited Warranty to be
valid.
