Šefko Osmanagić was held for 12 days, and Himzo Tahirović, Sejfo Osmanagić, Hamed Vukas, Rasim Drkenda, and Šemso Babić for a month. Idriz Durgut was sentenced to a six-month term for illegal possession of firearms. His court-appointed attorney was Nada Šljivić from Pljevlja. Sejfo was taken in again by police the day after his release and soon afterwards allowed to go. He spent the night at the home of Redža Osmanagić in Pljevlja, and with several others, rented a van and returned to Bukovica. A few days later, in mid-December, the police once again came to the Osmanagić home. Sejfo and Šefko escaped through a window and fled on foot through the woods to Goražde in Bosnia. Šefko was killed in combat in Goražde and Sejfo still lives there. 5.5.3.2. Elderly couple beaten After Šefko and Sejfo had fled, the military and police frequently came to their home in Čerjenci, questioning their mother Hajrija, father Šaćir and underage brother Ševal about their whereabouts and weapons. Hahrija recounted: I recognized the soldiers and police reservists who tormented us: Aco Malinić, Milorad Brković, Dragan Danilović, Radenko Ristanović, Savo Danilović, Goran Kovačević, and the policeman Slaviša Svrkota. Sometime in April 1993, after the mosque in Plansko village was torched, the army reservists Ristanović, who is from the Bukovica village Srećanje, and Milorad Brković, who is from Lugovi, came to our house and led my husband Šaćir to the stable. Brane Vrećo from Selište, also an army reservist, was there too. He grabbed me by the hair and threw me on the ground, and made me sing Chetnik songs. As this was going on, Aco Malinić came with a dead and gutted fox, put it on our doorstep and said we were to leave it there. We took all this very hard, and me and my husband saw there was no life for us in Bukovica anymore. So we made up our minds to leave and, on 10 May 1993, went by foot to Goražde, leaving everything we owned behind. My husband Šaćir was always sick after what happened.
