The national park <strong>of</strong> the Rugova region, part <strong>of</strong> the “Accursed Mountains,” is only two kilometers<br />
from Peja. It is located in the beautiful Rugova Valley, traversed by the 56-kilometer Lumbardhi<br />
river. The Rugova Valley is <strong>of</strong>ten compared to Switzerland and is ideal for rock climbing, trekking,<br />
hiking, caving, skiing, snowshoeing and picnicking with friends. Learn about local culture,<br />
traditions and cuisine.<br />
Begin with a c<strong>of</strong>fee and briefing by our staff at the Rugova Experience <strong>of</strong>fice in Peja. We will<br />
then drive about an hour to the picturesque village <strong>of</strong> Drelaj in the Rugova Valley to begin hiking<br />
through the picturesque settlements and stunning natural landscape <strong>of</strong> the Rugova Valley.<br />
After a traditional lunch and c<strong>of</strong>fee with a local family, we will return to Peja.<br />
