Have a welcome drink in the director’s office and meet co-owner Hysen Geci and director Shani Mullabazi, who will guide us on a walking tour followed by a wine tasting in their large wine cellar. You will sample two white wines and three reds, including Stone Castle’s awardwinning chardonnay and merlot. Return to Rahovec for a tour of the Old Winery “Podrumi i Vjetër,” where you will be welcomed by the owner Halim Haxhijaha. Enjoy the winery’s pinot noir and Vranac wines. Continue on to the village of Hoça e Madhe (Velika Hoça), to visit the private winery of the Boza Family for a tasting. Conclude with a visit the “Vinica” Winery, owned and operated by a local monastery. Continue to Gjakova to enjoy some of the best dining in Kosovo. Return to Pristina that evening.
